Kenneth G. Dr. McCoin holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Houston and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Over a career spanning five decades he has served as a chief economist, investment advisor, and consulting economist, and taught finance and economics at the University of Houston, Rice University, and Houston Baptist University, where he was honored with the Outstanding Faculty Award in the Professional MBA Program. His research has appeared in the Journal of Finance and Financial Management, and he has served as a faculty member of the State Bar of Texas Advanced Expert Witness Course.

McCoin, Ph.D., supporting the preparation, production, and delivery of economic reports for attorneys and law firms. His responsibilities included distributing and receiving intake forms, processing case data, conducting research, managing office operations, assisting with special projects, and helping prepare economic-loss materials for review and presentation.
His work also included bringing Life Care Plans to present value, organizing financial and employment information, and curating the narrative structure of reports so that complex economic damages could be presented clearly, accurately, and usefully. In this role, he helped bridge the gap between raw case materials and the final economic analysis attorneys rely on to evaluate damages, settlement value, and litigation strategy.
